The government-led, multi-agency Prevent programme aims to stop individuals becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism.

The objectives of Prevent are to:

  • tackle the ideological causes of terrorism.
  • intervene early to support people susceptible to radicalisation.
  • enable people who have already engaged in terrorism to disengage and rehabilitate.

As a school we are committed to reporting individuals in line with the prevent programme.

Educate against Hate The Educate Against Hate parents' hub provides resources and government advice for parents and carers on keeping young people safe from extremism, including online.
