8/10 pupils are taking part in climate action

A recent survey of over 400 pupils at Balcarras has revealed that 8/10 are taking some sort of positive climate action.

This survey was carried out by the Inter Climate Network who have been doing work on how involved young people in Gloucestershire are when it comes to Climate Change.

"This has given our Ecoclub a great way to focus on how to involve the whole school community in events, days such as our 'Thick Jumper day' 'Swap shop' 'Groundforce' or 'Empty car park days' have been successful, but there are lots of other actions that we can involve the school community in" said Jon Pearce leader of the schools Eco club.
