Update on remote learning for pupils isolating due to COVID.

Dear Parents,

Before the half-term break we had a very high number of pupils isolating due to COVID and so made the decision that we would have live access to “Teams” as the default method of remote learning.

As hoped the number of pupils having to work from home is now significantly smaller and so we are able to move back to a more bespoke arrangement.

Teachers will decide the best way for pupils to access their learning based on the content that will be covered in the lesson.

This may be work sent via email, a task set on the VLE or joining a live lesson on Teams.

If a teacher expects a pupil to join a lesson live on Teams they will let the pupil know prior to the lesson.

Teachers will endeavour to make the work available on the day of the missed lesson. If a task is set later in the day (after school finishes) pupils should not worry about completing it on that day and can use any free time the following day to catch up.

Thank you for your continued support during this ever-changing situation.

Kind Regards
