Last week Year 12 taught Year 7 PSE.  This was part of their HSC unit 15 coursework.  In groups, the Year 12's planned a health promotion campaign and taught the whole hour lesson without any tutor intervention. 

They were brilliant!  The lessons were well planned and contained lots of different activities to engage the Year 7's in their chosen topic which varied including promoting self esteem and the dangers of smoking.  The Year 12's thoroughly enjoyed the experience and they all said how much more respect they have for their own teachers as they were very tired afterwards!
