Geography hazards conference
Year 13 pupils attend a conference on Natural hazards
The Year 13 geographers enjoyed an amazing day out in Manchester last week. They attended a conference on 'Hazards' where their knowledge and understanding of Volcanoes and Earthquakes was updated by a series of expert professors who recapped the key principles of the A level course and added lots of up to date scientific findings to extend their basic knowledge. The star of the show was Professor Iain Stewart who arrived rather late but was worth the wait!
