We were delighted to host this year's Trust MFL Spelling Bee Competition alongside our partner schools, Winchcombe School and The High School Leckhampton.

Students competed in both French and Spanish, taking on the challenge of spelling as many words as possible in just one minute using the target language alphabet. The competition tested not only their language knowledge and accuracy but also their concentration and resilience under pressure.

A huge congratulations goes to every pupil who took part. Standing in front of an audience and performing under timed conditions takes real courage. Every competitor should be incredibly proud of their achievement. Events like this help to develop confidence in public speaking—an invaluable skill that will benefit students well beyond the classroom and into their future education and careers.
