Maths Challenge results

Junior Maths Challenge results are out
This year, 126 students from Year 7 and Year 8 took part in the Junior Maths Challenge. Consisting of 25 multiple-choice questions, the challenge tests students’ ability to apply and combine different areas of mathematics to solve problems creatively and logically.
Our students achieved an impressive 34 Bronze, 30 Silver and 12 Gold awards. The Gold award winners are pictured in the attached photograph and all enjoyed today’s presentation ceremony.
Congratulations to Margot Holland who top scored with a phenomenal 118 and also to the other 8 qualifiers for the next round of the challenge taking place on Tuesday 9th after half term.
Why not have a go at the final two questions from the paper yourself? They are great fun!
