Fundraising Campaign raises £40,001 to celebrate 40 Years of Balcarras

Wow! Over £40,000 raised to celebrate the 40^th Anniversary of the school.  We had a great couple of days at school, and a special mention to all of those pupils from across the school who helped out with the seniors tea party, either baking or serving.  Over 100 senior members of our local community came for tea, cake, music and a chat, and it was highly fitting that the school at the heart of it's community was such a central part of the celebrations. 

Thanks ever so much to everyone who contributed to our fundraising appeal.  We are now excited to put plans in place to develop our outside area to continue to enhance student wellbeing, and also to ensure that our departments are expertly equipped so that all of the pupils can access learning as well as possible. None of this would have been possible without the time and efforts put in by our excellent PTFA, so a very special thanks to them.
