Great Mouse Hunt

The Great Gloucestershire Mouse Hunt 🖱️🐭
As a school we are teaming up with a local charity 'ITSA Digital Trust' in Leckhampton. We are a collection hub for old electronic digital equipment to be sent to schools in Africa.
The Great Gloucestershire Mouse Hunt is a week-long event that we are running Monday 26th to Friday 30th January 2026, when we are asking people to donate their unwanted USB mice and keyboards, as well as a variety of computer cables to ITSA.
They will also take donations of computers, laptops and monitors, we are always short of the peripherals and we know that most people have a box, drawer or cupboard full of bits and pieces, that they can use.
We are asking staff, pupils and families to help out. By taking part in The Great Gloucestershire Mouse Hunt you will be supporting this Cheltenham-based charity, ITSA Digital Trust, as well as helping your friends and business contacts have a January clear out and bringing new people into your business premises.
This charity is working with over 200 Gloucestershire charities and sending them to schools in Africa, where they build IT labs and train the teachers.
There will be a collection box in the library from Monday 26th January to Friday 30th January 2026
The venues already joining in this include Cheltenham Borough Council, all the Growth Hubs, Spirax Sarco and others.
As a school we regularly send old computer equipment to this charity and we have had Duke of Edinburgh students and work experience assist with this charity.
