Our Year 9 students were treated to an immersive and fascinating talk exploring the trench experience of the First World War. By handling real artefacts and hearing powerful accounts of real-life experiences, students gained a vivid insight into the harsh and horrifying realities faced by soldiers on the Western Front.

The Year 9s were wonderful throughout the session — they asked thoughtful questions and demonstrated genuine curiosity and engagement, and we hope they found the experience as memorable as the staff did.
