#TheOriginalGivingTree was created to be a fun alternative to the traditional Secret Santa; instead of buying a fun gift for a colleague, the Giving Tree encourages people to buy a toy for a child fleeing domestic abuse in refuge.

These children typically receive very little – or in some cases nothing at all at Christmas.
