It was another outstanding day for the Balcarras golf team as they defended their title in the county finals. There were 70 players representing schools across the county in the blazing heat at Stinchcombe golf club on Wednesday 30th April. Balcarras were represented by Alex Williams, Sam Ellicott, Stan Jones, Freddie Coombe, Ben Warwicker, Zac Souter, Finlay Richards and Jacob Austin. 

A combined team score of 8 under par saw Balcarras win. Alex Williams, Finlay Richards and Freddie Coombe will now go on and represent the school at the national finals at Woodhall Spa in July. 

A fine 69 (nett 63) from Alex Williams saw him secure 2^nd in the individual prize which means he will go on and represent the school in the individual U16 national finals. A fantastic performance by all involved and the boys should be very proud. Now the Balcarras golf team go onto the National Finals at Woodhall Spa in July.
