Join the Music Department in the Hall at 5pm on Friday 2nd May for a special concert featuring musicians from Balcarras and our guest flute-players from Finland!

We’re delighted to welcome our Finnish visitors as part of a brilliant international exchange opportunity put together by our flute teacher Nicola Hopkins. They will be playing with our ensembles in an exciting programme of music for Flutes, Balcajazz, Orchestra, Quirky Quintet and much more…! The flute teachers from both countries will also be playing together!

The Finnish students will be spending the day with us (and some at CKJS) on Friday and the concert is the culmination of that day’s activities. It would be great if you could come along and support them. All welcome! No entry fee, but there’s a collection at the end in aid of this year’s Midsummer Music if you’d like to help out!
