Balcarras dominated the District Cross Country held at St Edward’s School on Friday 14^th October. There were some superb individual performances and the overall team results were just amazing.

They don’t do a trophy for overall winner but from the above it seems clear that Balcarras would have won it this year! 

Cross Country is very much a team game and to be successful you have to have depth in your team because the top 6 runners count for each team. For that reason it is wrong to purely focus on those who came in the top 20 but we couldn’t resist giving them some well deserved recognition.
