Eleanor Quick in Y12 has been accepted as an Arkwright Scholar – a national Engineering Scholarship for students who want to pursue a career in Design and Technology.

Eleanor will receive:

•£600 awarded to each scholar - this can be spent on resources for projects, STEM equipment or text books

•A Sponsor – Eleanor will be allocated a Sponsor. This is likely to be an Engineering company.

•Enrichment Opportunities and Networking

•Arkwright Undergraduate Scholarships

To be awarded with this honour, Eleanor had to submit an application and then be shortlisted for an interview. It is a fantastic achievement to be awarded a scholarship as only a small number of candidates were successful this year. The D&T department are very proud of her achievements.
