On Saturday the Balcarras Croquet team competed in the English Schools Croquet Championships at the University of Nottingham. The team performed superbly finishing 4th overall and winning an award for the team with the most sportsmanship. Balcarras was the only state comprehensive school represented and we understand from the organisers that we are the only comprehensive school with a croquet team.

Thanks to their coach Mrs Thomson who took them to the tournament and well done to everyone on the team.
