After winning the regional finals, the Balcarras Young Enterprise team, Grounded Origin, travelled to Cardiff last Wednesday to compete in the prestigious Young Enterprise National Final, where they faced the very best student companies from across the UK.

In the lead-up to the event, the team worked tirelessly to prepare a promotional advert for their product and a professional presentation. On the day, they showcased their business through an impressive trade stand and took part in a series of interviews with the judging panel.

The overall winners were Zestee from Wales, whose innovative business created golf tees from orange zest. While Grounded Origin did not take home the national title, reaching the final is an outstanding achievement and reflects the team's dedication, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit throughout the year.

Everyone involved should be immensely proud of what they have accomplished. Competing on a national stage against the strongest Young Enterprise teams in the country is a remarkable success in itself.
