Cotswold Wildlife park

Year 9 visited the Cotswold Wildlife park as part of the schools curriculum day
200 pupils from year 9 travelled across the Cotswolds to visit the Cotswold Wildlife park on Thursday. This was part of the schools curriculum day, where pupils spend a day off of their timetable to do something out of the ordinary.

Pupils walked around the park in small groups and got to see a range of animals in different habitats. There was a ranger talk with a park keeper on some of the adaptations and habitats that these animals live in. This ties in with the work pupils have been doing on Ecosystems in Geography and Habitats in Science.

The most popular animals were the giraffes, lions, penguins and the wolves. Despite the windy and rainy weather the pupils coped with the conditions. They made the most of their time touring the park. The animals were also in fine form and were outside in the rain.
There was even time for the playground and shop before we made our way home. A great day out.
