Last night saw the annual Balcarras Carol concert take place at Holy Apostles Church. This was a festive celebration involving a number of Balcarras pupils singing, reading and performing. It was an inspiration to watch so many young people getting to showcase their hard work in front of family and friends. There were songs from the school choir, the boys choir, staff choir, balcajazz, the string group, brass group, cantabile choir to name a few. Outstanding solo performances by Tom Eggleton, Anya Hunter and a saxophone solo by Isaac Costa Hall. A special thank you to all of the music teachers who have helped prepare the young people, especially Mr Armstrong, Mr Howell and Mrs Watts.

A collection was made for Cheltenham open door charity, which is still live on Scopay. The evening was followed by Mince pies and mulled wine provided by the Balcarras tech department
