On Tuesday, the MFL department welcomed Laura Kirk-Francis, a languages graduate from Cambridge who has built an exciting international career across sport, business, and broadcasting. After graduating from university, she joined the community outreach team at Arsenal FC, coaching football in London and Ghana. During her talk to the Year 8 pupils, she explained how studying languages opened the door to her work with organisations such as Arsenal and the NFL in the world of sport, Dior and Chanel in the beauty industry, and the BBC.
