Dear Parents and students

I hope you are all having a nice half term week.

I thought I should issue a brief update about plans to offer some face to contact in schools for Year 10 and Year 12 students. At the time of my last update I said that we were waiting for the publication of the government’s guidance for secondary schools. This has now been published.

The first thing to note from this guidance is that the government have stipulated that schools should only begin this face to face contact from June 15^th. We had hoped to start earlier but will now have to adhere to the guidance. The guidance states that we will only be able to bring in one quarter of a year group per day.

We are currently doing some work on how all of this will look. I will be back in touch shortly.
