Accessibility

This Website has been redesigned to meet the highest Accessibility Standards, the site design allows for Text Resizing, Image Descriptions as well as a 'High Contrast' Stylesheet. The Website uses standard HTML and XHTML as well as CSS Stylesheeting as per the W3 Consortium.

Balcarras:web offers several options for personalised browsing and viewing of its website;

Dynamic Text Scaling

Balweb has been designed to comform to strict web standards layed down by the W3C. This means that viewers are able to 'scale' text to there likings, this option is usually presented in one of the pulldown options available under the View tab.

Interchangable Stylesheets

Balweb also includes support for interchangable stylesheets, including a 'High Visability' Theme,- this formats the pages for a higher contrast as well as an increased text size. Unfortunatly this means that some pages will render differently and oftern less astetically.

Additionally we provide a stripted down text and content only theme that strips away most of the formatting from the page. We reccomend this setting for those using screen readers as well as mobile users and those on a dialup conection.

You can change this setting from the Site Accessibility Options page.
