Last Wednesday our Year 7 Robotics Team attended the Robotics Challenge UK Final at the NEC.   The team qualified from the regionals in May and were excited to undertake the new set of robotics challenges at the Big Bang Fair.  Throughout the day the team did Balcarras proud with great efforts in the presentation project and the Teamwork Challenge.  The poster they created in the Teamwork Challenge was a particular highlight (see photo) and it also gave our students the opportunity to engage with all of the engineering professionals at the science fair stands. Unfortunately, no trophies were won this time but a lot of learning, and most importantly fun, was had!
