Duke of Edinburgh

103 students completed their DofE Bronze expedition last weekend. They started out near Seven Springs and walked south the Caudle Green before swinging north to Birdlip. At camp Mr Butler and Mr Bull earned a Michelin Star by barbequing all the students a hotdog in stormy conditions. None of the sausages were cremated! On Sunday, students left camp early to avoid the heat and walked north-east to the finish at a car park on Leckhampton Hill. How joyous it was to see the elation on students faces knowing they'd finished! Conditions were hot and sticky and their bags heavy. Students did exceptionally well. A massive well done to all and a huge thank you to staff who gave up their weekend, particularly Mrs Bull and  Mr Butler.
