After months of building work the new Music block at Balcarras was officially opened.  Pupils from the Balcajazz band and school choir performed at the opening ceremony.  This saw Julian Dunkerton, the owner of SuperDry and Radio DJ Jo Whiley cut the ribbon and officially open the building.

If you would like to see Balcajazz perform theywill be playing as part of Jazz It Up! - part of the Cheltenham Jazz Festival fringe events, om Sunday 6th May from 10.30am-10.55am on the Free Stage in Montpellier Gardens.  Jo Whiley is also performing at this weekends festival.
