District Swimming Success

Balcarras gets its first win of the district swimming trophy

Congratulations to the mixed boys and girls relay squads who won both of the District Webb Relay Trophies held at Cheltenham College. The boys managed to retain the impressive trophy having won last year for the first time in a competition history dating back to the World War 1. This year the girls managed to mirror the success of the boys winning their parallel event. Well done to you all!

Boys Team L-R: Oliver Jones, Ollie Haddrell, Cameron Lewis and Theo Cannon

Girls Team L-R: Bethan Wilson , Sian Wiggins, Grace Simpson , Emma Williams

In Addition to the Webb Trophies The Balcarras boys Squads won the Year 8, Year 9 and Year 10 District boys competitions with the girls winning the Year 7 District competition. Each competition was made up of medley and freestyle relays and then two swimmers in each of the individual sprints. Well done to all of you who competed.
