As a way to keep pupils engaged in cooking Balcarras has hosted a fun 'Bake Off' competition.   Mrs Cozens organised the event and encouraged people to send in pictures in via the VLE.  She had this to say about the competition;

"Thank you to everyone who entered the  Balcarras Easter Bake off. As you can see there have been some amazing bakes - making judging very difficult! It has been so good to see entries from pupils in all year groups ranging from year 7 to year 13 - and some staff entries too.
